Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anfilogino Corelli started the match with the kick off. In the 6thth minute of the game Anfilogino Corelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gerno FC's Alex Citrullo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th match minute, Gerno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beppe Pani to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio Sarnelli during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gerno FC booed when Santa Marinella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Sarnelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Palone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Imperatrice having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Daniele Di Rado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Marinella AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniele Di Rado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Citrullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Corelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute, Anfilogino Corelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute, Daniele Di Rado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniele Di Rado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Alex Citrullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Citrullo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexander Palone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniele Di Rado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Citrullo having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Daniele Di Rado struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Alex Citrullo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Marinella AFC. 57 minutes into the match, Anfilogino Corelli notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gerno FC's Alex Citrullo. Alex Citrullo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute Alfonso Del Nero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Imperatrice saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Palone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Gerno FC's Domenico Costacurta got a free kick in the 78th minute. Anfilogino Corelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Citrullo having to interfere. If Alfonso Del Nero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
