The tension between the Mirazzano FC and the Francolino FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ettore Sorge kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Francolino FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Cesare Casadei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Cala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Bomba having to interfere. Daniele Verdini hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Aldo Formica, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Davide Pezzella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Ali read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mirazzano FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! Damiano Iacomini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
