In the 3rd minute, Achille Biancone had to leave the field with a concussion. In the 4th minute, Daniele Verdini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ladino's Alberigo Mansueto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Iacomini in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Fortunato Guarrera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fortunato Guarrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fedele Alfonsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fabio Ali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Francolino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Verdini to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Francolino FC's Angelo Tenaglia got a free kick in the 21st minute. Fortunato Guarrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Fabio Ali made a huge save. Ladino's Fedele Alfonsi got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Francolino FC's Fabio Ali got control of the ball when Fortunato Guarrera tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Damiano Iacomini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Guarrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Fabio Ali made a huge save. If Fortunato Guarrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Guarrera in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Ali, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fortunato Guarrera made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Fortunato Guarrera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fabio Ali was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Ali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Guarrera in the 56th minute of play. Francolino FC's Damiano Iacomini got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberigo Mansueto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Tenaglia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiliano Di Mattia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francolino FC's Fabio Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Guarrera in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Angelo Tenaglia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Francolino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Tenaglia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberigo Mansueto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabio Ali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Guarrera in the 79th minute of play. Fabio Ali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Guarrera in the 82nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Di Mattia during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Ladino fans cheered their team off the field, for while Francolino FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
