With his leg Alvise Bartolomucci managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Puglia's Claudio Bosso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 10 minutes into the match, Federico Aquilino notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Puglia's Amos Sanna. Amos Sanna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvise Bartolomucci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Achille Grieco's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Achille Grieco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Bartolomucci having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Puglia got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Piscitelli. If Federico Aquilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Croara FC's Alvise Bartolomucci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Croara FC from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Achille Grieco to strike the kick off in the second half. Croara FC's Francesco Ottavi got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Achille Grieco, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alvise Bartolomucci was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Puglia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
