The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alessandro Canuto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Biagetti in the 4th minute of the match. If Dennis Piano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Galdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Angelo Fallito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Bolzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Riccitelli to maneuver through the defense. If Dennis Piano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bolzano's zone, Dino Galdi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Fallito came out of the goal and Dino Galdi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Bolzano's Angelo Fallito got control of the ball when Dino Galdi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ciccio Fantasia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro Canuto was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Saliceto Panaro AFC's Carmine Giancristofaro got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Fausto Biagetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Canuto having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Fausto Biagetti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro Canuto was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Saliceto Panaro AFC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Bolzano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fedele Di Rocco took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciccio Fantasia in the 38th minute of play forced Saliceto Panaro AFC's goalkeeper Alessandro Canuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmine Giancristofaro during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Carmine Giancristofaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bolzano booed when Saliceto Panaro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Melis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis Piano to make the kick off. Ciccio Fantasia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute of the match Enrico Arcari sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessandro Canuto skillfully saved the ball. Alessandro Canuto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Fantasia in the 67th minute of play. When Bolzano's Ciccio Fantasia in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saliceto Panaro AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 70 minutes of play, Saliceto Panaro AFC's Dennis Piano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Fallito was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Ciccio Fantasia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolzano's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciccio Fantasia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro Canuto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Biagetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rdth minute of the game Ciccio Fantasia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saliceto Panaro AFC's Alessandro Canuto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arturo Salvagnin tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Angelo Fallito. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 85th minute. After 90 played minutes Bolzano got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Di Rado. In the 93rd minute, Fausto Biagetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Cassone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Alessandro Canuto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
