Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rivalta FC's Alex Melis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 13 played minutes Rivalta FC got a freekick which was hit by Ermanno Rapone. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Eugenio Sforza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zepponami FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Sforza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinando Montanari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zepponami FC's Ercole Florio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Melis in the 23rd minute of play. When Rivalta FC's Alex Melis in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 35th minute, Eugenio Sforza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Carlo Spiazzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferdinando Montanari was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 44 minutes into the match, Fedele Festa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ercole Florio. Zepponami FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fedele Festa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Zepponami FC's Ercole Florio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Melis in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Spiazzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Sforza in the 52nd minute of play forced Rivalta FC's goalkeeper Ferdinando Montanari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Salvucci kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Adriano Cannavacciuolo charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriano Cannavacciuolo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dino Tomasso struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ercole Florio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivalta FC. Dino Tomasso kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Zepponami FC's keeper Ercole Florio was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 75 minutes into the game, Rivalta FC's Dino Tomasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ercole Florio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ferdinando Montanari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Spiazzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Melis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ercole Florio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Zepponami FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Dino Gava hit a great ball. Alex Melis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Florio having to interfere. Alex Melis struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ercole Florio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivalta FC. Alex Melis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ercole Florio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Rivalta FC's Alex Melis got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
