In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tabina's goalkeeper Cristoforo Bevilacqua, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfonso Ascenzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cristoforo Bevilacqua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sturla's Emiliano Piscopo got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ettore Colecchia's late challenge caught a Sturla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sturla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Piscopo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carmine Silvestre kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Emiliano Piscopo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The tension between the Tabina and the Sturla players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes, Sturla's Biagio Santangelo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristoforo Bevilacqua came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sturla reached it. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tabina's goalkeeper Cristoforo Bevilacqua, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 68 minutes of play Tabina's Carmine Silvestre was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Emiliano Piscopo scored 1-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristoforo Bevilacqua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sturla were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tabina for a fine match.
