Anselmo Coscarella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Buonanno, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Rozzi in the 7th minute of play forced Monzoro's goalkeeper Anselmo Coscarella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felice Combi hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Anselmo Coscarella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermanno Rozzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Buonanno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anselmo Coscarella having to make a save. Ermanno Rozzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Ermanno Rozzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marina Di Ravenna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monzoro the free kick. Marina Di Ravenna's Attilio Caligaris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Marina Di Ravenna from getting a goal against them. Anselmo Buonanno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Anselmo Coscarella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alessio Barresi in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Attilio Caligaris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Monzoro's Alessio Barresi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Anselmo Buonanno might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Coscarella. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Buonanno ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Buonanno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anselmo Coscarella was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessio Barresi was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Monzoro's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Rozzi came free, but Anselmo Coscarella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Monzoro's Anselmo Coscarella got control of the ball when Anselmo Buonanno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carter Fanelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Coscarella had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Daniele Brandolini's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 77th minute, Felice Combi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marina Di Ravenna's Attilio Caligaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter Fanelli in the 88th minute of play. Attilio Caligaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessio Barresi in the 92nd minute of play. Monzoro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Marina Di Ravenna for a fine match.
