The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Monzoro. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Straorini. Fabio Orrore stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anselmo Coscarella. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Alessio Barresi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniele Alonzi was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Carter Fanelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Daniele Alonzi made a huge save. The supporters of Straorini booed when Monzoro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Diana didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Fanelli in the 94th minute of play forced Straorini's goalkeeper Daniele Alonzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Alessio Barresi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Alonzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrizio Bulla during the 99th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Straorini walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
