A collision led to Ruata Chiusani getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Emiliano Muto hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Armando Pietrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eraldo Di Muzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the game, Focene AFC's Christian Grilli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eraldo Fasciani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Christian Grilli scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eraldo Fasciani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the game, Achille Del Prete cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Eraldo Fasciani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Focene AFC's Christian Grilli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eraldo Fasciani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Christian Grilli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eraldo Fasciani. Ruata Chiusani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Grilli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Focene AFC's Bernardo Pedroni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Fulgenzi in the 31st minute of play. Bernardo Pedroni made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Domenico Fulgenzi sent off a good shot on target. Bernardo Pedroni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Di Muzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes, Edmondo De Simone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Focene AFC and the Ruata Chiusani players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domenico Fulgenzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Pedroni having to interfere. If Eraldo Di Muzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Pietrini during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernardo Pedroni made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Domenico Fulgenzi sent off a good shot on target. The Ruata Chiusani players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Focene AFC were winning 0-4.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ruata Chiusani's goalkeeper Eraldo Fasciani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Domenico Fulgenzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ruata Chiusani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Christian Grilli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. In the 66thth minute of the game Domenico Fulgenzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Focene AFC's Bernardo Pedroni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardo Pedroni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Di Muzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 71 minutes, Alberigo Capaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruata Chiusani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberigo Capaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Grilli struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Eraldo Fasciani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Focene AFC. In the 79th minute Cosimo Mazzocchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Fasciani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Domenico Fulgenzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achille Del Prete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Achille Del Prete who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Eraldo Fasciani when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Focene AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
