Emiliano Brandini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Alvise Malvezzi made a huge save. In the 6th minute Claudio Mazzone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Malvezzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Marrone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Cristoforo Troiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino De Vecchis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Monzeglio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino De Vecchis having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Lucento FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Monzeglio came free, but Dino De Vecchis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristoforo Troiani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dino De Vecchis having to make a save. When Cristoforo Troiani fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borgo Isonzo AFC's protests and gave Cristoforo Troiani a yellow card for diving instead. Cristoforo Troiani kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Emiliano Brandini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Brandini got free with Alvise Malvezzi in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alvise Malvezzi was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Emiliano Brandini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emiliano Brandini really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristoforo Troiani made a kick off. Cesare Grande kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Dino De Vecchis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Troiani, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Emiliano Monzeglio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Dino De Vecchis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Dino De Vecchis, was totally fooled by Borgo Isonzo AFC's Emilio Ferrini, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dino De Vecchis made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Emiliano Monzeglio sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Lucento FC's zone, Adriano Brambilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino De Vecchis came out of the goal and Adriano Brambilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvise Malvezzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Brandini in the 71st minute of the match. Cristoforo Troiani was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Borgo Isonzo AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 81st minute Emiliano Brandini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Malvezzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucento FC's Dino De Vecchis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo Troiani in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Brandini in the 86th minute of play forced Borgo Isonzo AFC's goalkeeper Alvise Malvezzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th match minute, Borgo Isonzo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Brambilla to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
