Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudio Bonsignore started the match with the kick off. Fausto Mameli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Bonsignore in the 4th minute of the match. With his leg Fausto Mameli managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Guizza FC's Angelo Caccia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Achille Nasuti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th match minute, Guizza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achille Nasuti to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute of the match Antonio Pan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Casciano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bernardo Chiarelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Armando Scrima charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Scrima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Guizza FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Scrima. 38 minutes into the match, Sasso Marconi's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Bonsignore came free, but Fausto Mameli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match, Angelo Caccia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fausto Mameli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Claudio Bonsignore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Guizza FC's Claudio Bonsignore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Mameli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Attilio Iannucci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demetrio Busillo charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demetrio Busillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Guizza FC's Demetrio Busillo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Alberto Casciano came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Sasso Marconi's Attilio Iannucci. But to his dismay, Attilio Iannucci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 62nd minute, Bernardo Chiarelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 65 minutes of play, Sasso Marconi's Bernardo Chiarelli made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Casciano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Casciano made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Bernardo Chiarelli sent off a good shot on target. Fausto Mameli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Bonsignore, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Alberto Casciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Iannucci in the 79th minute of play. Attilio Iannucci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Casciano having to make a save. Ennio Federici hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Bernardo Chiarelli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Alberto Casciano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Angelo Caccia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Casciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Iannucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sasso Marconi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
