With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrico Di Berardino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the game, Ermanno Trentini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ponte Della Pietra AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Budrione AFC the free kick. Ermanno Trentini kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arrigo Muzi during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Budrione AFC's Arrigo Muzi got a free kick in the 10th minute. Enrico Di Berardino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto De Luca in the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrizio Flocco in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrico Di Berardino saved Budrione AFC from getting behind. Ernesto Buffone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Giannotti in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play Ponte Della Pietra AFC's Ermanno Trentini was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Ponte Della Pietra AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ermanno Trentini hit a great ball. Ernesto Buffone made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Cristiano De Bartolo sent off a good shot on target. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Giannotti couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Cristiano De Bartolo made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Buffone. Ponte Della Pietra AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Budrione AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
