With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabiano Visintin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Onzato booed when San Lucia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Pellecchia didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Armando Pellecchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Pellecchia came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabiano Visintin could save by the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuele Armellini was the one to do the kick off. For all the effort they put into the match, the Onzato players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Lucia.
