In the 3rd minute Armando Pellecchia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Scalabrino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Di Toma in the 8th minute of play forced San Lucia's goalkeeper Elia Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Imperiale kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes in the game, Antonello Di Girolamo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Elia Polo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ferruccio Masetti. Adriano Petrosino hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Armando Pellecchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elia Polo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Di Toma in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Diego Di Toma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mira Vecchia's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Di Toma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elia Polo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32ndth minute of the game Antonello Di Girolamo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lucia's Elia Polo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to San Lucia getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Adriano Petrosino hit a great ball. Emanuele Scalabrino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Armellini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Armando Pellecchia came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the San Lucia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Pellecchia couldn't finish the play. Dino Righi's late challenge caught a San Lucia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Righi helped the player get up and apologised. Dino Righi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Emanuele Armellini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuele Scalabrino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a little luck, Mira Vecchia's Emanuele Scalabrino got control of the ball when Armando Pellecchia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antonello Di Girolamo took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elia Polo. Elia Polo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Antonello Di Girolamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Diego Di Toma came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Mira Vecchia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Di Toma couldn't finish the play. The San Lucia fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when San Lucia's Armando Pellecchia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Antonello Di Girolamo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Elia Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonello Di Girolamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Armando Pellecchia put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Emanuele Scalabrino. When Diego Di Toma came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Mira Vecchia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Di Toma couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the game, one of Mira Vecchia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for San Lucia. Alvaro Di Blasio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emanuele Scalabrino. 1-3. With his leg Emanuele Scalabrino managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when San Lucia's Armando Pellecchia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 96th minute, Armando Pellecchia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lucia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The Mira Vecchia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching San Lucia's performance. The match ended with a win for San Lucia.
