But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuele Ubriaco couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Emilio Caccavale notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Folzano's Ferdinando Iezzi. Ferdinando Iezzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emilio Caccavale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ferdinando Iezzi made a huge save. When Comunardo Juliano fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Folzano's protests and gave Comunardo Juliano a yellow card for diving instead. Alex Ianni scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Biagio Gervasi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Induno Olona FC's zone, Bernardo Maldini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Gervasi came out of the goal and Bernardo Maldini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th match minute, Induno Olona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Passalacqua to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Folzano's Alex Ianni got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Alex Ianni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davide Giordano charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davide Giordano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Induno Olona FC booed when Folzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide Giordano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinando Iezzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Scudieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Alex Ianni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Gervasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After having played for 52 minutes, Emanuele Ubriaco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Induno Olona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuele Ubriaco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Folzano getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Angelo Natale hit a great ball. Biagio Gervasi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Maldini in the 56th minute. Emanuele Ubriaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ferdinando Iezzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Folzano booed when Induno Olona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Gaeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo De Grandis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Induno Olona FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Folzano for a fine match.
