Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carmine Mandelli started the match with the kick off. Florian Verna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Santovito having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuele Ruggieri during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anselmo Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Mandelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ennio Cirelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrico Iacovone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Enrico Santovito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Beppe Iannucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrico Santovito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Iacovone, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Carmine Mandelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
