Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eugenio Di Rado took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Zula's Ferruccio De Cesaris got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Zula's zone, Fabiano Bordon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felice Bevilacqua came out of the goal and Fabiano Bordon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Ercole Marconi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Martelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Marconi in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Zula's Cristiano Tondi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Martelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Zula booed when Battedizzo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Fabrizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Eugenio Di Rado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Battedizzo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Di Rado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felice Bevilacqua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Emilio Galli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Galli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felice Bevilacqua read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Emilio Galli took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felice Bevilacqua. Felice Bevilacqua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ercole Marconi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Martelli having to interfere. Zula's Cristiano Tondi got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ercole Marconi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Zula's Ercole Marconi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Martelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Battedizzo AFC's zone, Ercole Marconi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Martelli came out of the goal and Ercole Marconi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Martelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercole Marconi in the 76th minute of the match. Zula's Felice Bevilacqua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Zula from getting a goal against them. Eugenio Di Rado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Bevilacqua having to interfere. Felice Bevilacqua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Di Rado in the 88th minute of play. Felice Bevilacqua stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugenio Di Rado's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Battedizzo AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
