Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Enrico Pensa got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Viconovo AFC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Fausto Marchetti hit a great ball. After 4 played minutes Monza AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dino Pagliarini. Dino Pagliarini kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Augusto Finocchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ernesto Chizzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonello Ascani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felice Campitelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Pensa in the 18th minute of the match. Fausto Marchetti charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Marchetti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Viconovo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Marchetti. Monza AFC's Cesare Marrone couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Viconovo AFC. Alex Riccardi's late challenge caught a Monza AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Riccardi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Viconovo AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Alex Riccardi hit a great ball. Enrico Pensa's late challenge caught a Viconovo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrico Pensa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Enrico Pensa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Viconovo AFC's zone, Antonello Ascani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felice Campitelli came out of the goal and Antonello Ascani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute Antonello Ascani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felice Campitelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Damiano Mammarella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelio Borel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Viconovo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Di Bernardo. Antonello Ascani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Felice Campitelli made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Alex Riccardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th match minute, Viconovo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Rinaldi to maneuver through the defense. When Antonello Ascani came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Monza AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonello Ascani couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Chizzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Finocchi in the 65th minute of the match. Antonello Ascani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Finocchi struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ernesto Chizzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viconovo AFC. After 73 minutes of play Viconovo AFC's Alex Riccardi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 74th match minute, Viconovo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Riccardi to maneuver through the defense. Viconovo AFC's Felice Campitelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Viconovo AFC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Monza AFC's Filippo Zacchia got a free kick in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Borel during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Antonello Ascani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monza AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonello Ascani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felice Campitelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonello Ascani's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Felice Campitelli firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 90 minutes, Filippo Zacchia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monza AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippo Zacchia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Monza AFC's zone, Augusto Finocchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Chizzo came out of the goal and Augusto Finocchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
