After a rather tough play, Valleggia's Alfonso Granata got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 14 minutes, Daniele Aquilino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valleggia and the Cadibona players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniele Aquilino kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Claudio De Laurentiis struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Alfonso Michelini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadibona. After 27 minutes, Anfilogino Zarillo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cadibona's Daniele Domina tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alex Sessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Granata's late challenge caught a Cadibona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Granata helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Valleggia's Alfonso Granata got a free kick in the 38th minute. The Cadibona fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Cadibona's Alex Sessa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 45th minute, Alex Sessa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Sessa was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Cadibona's Claudio De Laurentiis made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Michelini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valleggia's Alfonso Michelini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Sessa in the 60th minute of play. Alex Sessa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Michelini having to make a save. If Alex Sessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cadibona's Daniele Domina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Zarillo in the 75th minute of play. Claudio De Laurentiis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfonso Michelini firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Valleggia's Alfonso Michelini got control of the ball when Claudio De Laurentiis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anfilogino Zarillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniele Domina having to make a save. When the final whistle sounded Cadibona left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Valleggia.
