Felice Marini started the match with the kick off. Alfredo Molinari's late challenge caught a Valleggia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Molinari helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Alfredo Molinari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Carter Colonna sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gaibanella AFC's Edmondo Bucci didn't even have to move. After 18 played minutes, Valleggia's Ernesto Grande shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edmondo Bucci came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valleggia reached it. After a rather tough play, Gaibanella AFC's Amos Di Bartolo got a free kick in the 19th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Anfilogino Zarillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valleggia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anfilogino Zarillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Edoardo Cipollini came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Gaibanella AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Cipollini couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Granata charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Granata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Valleggia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Granata to maneuver through the defense. Edoardo Cipollini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alfonso Michelini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Cavaliere stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gaibanella AFC booed when Valleggia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Granata didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Felice Marini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Michelini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Abete during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Valleggia booed when Gaibanella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Abete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmondo Bucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Cavaliere, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of Valleggia booed when Gaibanella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio De Amicis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anfilogino Zarillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Edmondo Bucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valleggia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carter Colonna in the 81st minute. Edmondo Bucci yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Valleggia's Alfonso Michelini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Marini in the 88th minute of play. Alfonso Michelini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Marini in the 90th minute of play. Felice Marini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Michelini having to interfere. Valleggia's Alfonso Michelini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Cipollini in the 98th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
