The audience was convinced that Daniele Di Clemente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fedele Tondi was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Artallo's Arrigo Milani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Mori in the 7th minute of play. Emilio Flamini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Tondi having to interfere. Daniele Di Clemente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Fedele Tondi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pontesesto booed when Artallo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Rosini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Elia Fanelli had to leave the field with a concussion. Arrigo Mantini's late challenge caught a Pontesesto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arrigo Mantini helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Artallo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Mantini to maneuver through the defense. Carter Campese took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arrigo Milani. Artallo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Emilio Flamini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Tondi having to interfere. Daniele Di Clemente received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fedele Tondi came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniele Di Clemente slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. Pontesesto's Fedele Tondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Di Clemente in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Federico Mori was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pontesesto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Artallo the free kick. Artallo were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Pontesesto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristiano Nazzaro took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Cristiano Nazzaro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fedele Tondi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arrigo Mantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Tondi having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Artallo's Emilio Flamini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fedele Tondi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniele Di Clemente to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabiano Petriccas short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Arrigo Milani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. During the 56th minute of the match Arrigo Mantini completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arrigo Mantini a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Artallo's Arrigo Mantini got a free kick in the 56th minute. Fabiano Petricca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Artallo booed when Pontesesto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Mori didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ferdinando Malandra fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Artallo's protests and gave Ferdinando Malandra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pontesesto booed when Artallo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinando Malandra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabiano Petricca got free with Arrigo Milani in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emilio Flamini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Fedele Tondi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Artallo's Arrigo Milani got control of the ball when Fabiano Petricca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emilio Flamini got in the 86th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Fedele Tondi handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Grande during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pontesesto fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! If Emilio Flamini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard, long distance shot from Daniele Di Clemente flew over the goal. Daniele Di Clemente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 101 minutes, Emilio Flamini made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pontesesto's Fedele Tondi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Artallo were the better team. Artallo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
