Trezzano Sul Naviglio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuele Di Monte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Emanuele Di Monte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corrado Iannucci in the 14th minute of play forced Verghera AFC's goalkeeper Alvise Fontana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvise Fontana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Corrado Iannucci went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the match, Verghera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Iannucci came free, but Alvise Fontana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvise Fontana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Corrado Iannucci's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Verghera AFC's Alvise Fontana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Di Monte in the 34th minute of play. Alvise Fontana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corrado Iannucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Trezzano Sul Naviglio FC's zone, Andrea Adriano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Cucci came out of the goal and Andrea Adriano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corrado Iannucci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emanuele Di Monte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvise Fontana was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Corrado Iannucci showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. Corrado Iannucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alvise Fontana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuele Di Monte in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alvise Fontana, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fortunato Fiordelisi might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Cucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fortunato Fiordelisi ran back to his position shaking his head. Emanuele Di Monte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Alvise Fontana made a huge save. In the 70th minute, Andrea Adriano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verghera AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Christian Cucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Adriano in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Trezzano Sul Naviglio FC's zone, Fortunato Fiordelisi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Cucci came out of the goal and Fortunato Fiordelisi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Trezzano Sul Naviglio FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Eraldo Macchia hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Emanuele Di Monte made a precise shot to the right of Alvise Fontana. Verghera AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Trezzano Sul Naviglio FC played a much better game than Verghera AFC and deserved their victory. The Verghera AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
