The crowd rose to their feet as Alessandro Santo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Domenico Rocchetti. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Alessandro Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenico Rocchetti having to interfere. Alvise Conforti kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Christian Centofanti was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Longiano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Santo came free, but Domenico Rocchetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pilastro booed when Longiano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Conforti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Concetto Aquilino helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Pilastro got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Aquilino. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alessandro Santo to strike the kick off in the second half. Longiano AFC's Comunardo Lupi got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domenico Rocchetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Pasquino, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Pilastro booed when Longiano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Tenaglia didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Armin Pasquino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domenico Rocchetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Pasquino in the 84th minute of the match. Emanuele Capobianco made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Franco Del Pizzo sent off a good shot on target. Alessandro Santo might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domenico Rocchetti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alessandro Santo ran back to his position shaking his head. Domenico Rocchetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Pasquino in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Longiano AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Christian Centofanti was slow to take the kick. During this time Pilastro's players had a chance to rest. 94 minutes into the match, Longiano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Pasquino came free, but Domenico Rocchetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Franco Del Pizzo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emanuele Capobianco, 1-2. Chants of Longiano AFC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Pilastro had held the ball for most of the match.
