Roncopascolo FC's Diego Silvestre got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edoardo Savoia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuele Bottaro in the 18th minute. If Diego Silvestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience cheered loudly when Ciro Del Giudice's long shot in the 25th minute became 1-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Edoardo Savoia. Christian Fagnani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Silvestre in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roncopascolo FC's goalkeeper Edoardo Savoia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Emanuele Bottaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noverasco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuele Bottaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edoardo Savoia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuele Bottaro's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Piccirilli to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Piccirilli in the 54th minute of play forced Roncopascolo FC's goalkeeper Edoardo Savoia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Alfonso Piccirilli made a precise shot to the right of Edoardo Savoia.
