If Donato Colecchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Alvise Totaro managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Calafuria FC's Donato Colecchia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 27 minutes into the match, Arino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filippo Tacco came free, but Alvise Totaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessio Sciotto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corrado Ferrante to strike the kick off in the second half. Dave Di Persio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corrado Ferrante struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Alessio Sciotto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arino FC. 64 minutes into the game, Comunardo Carbonaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arino FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calafuria FC the free kick. Alberigo Di Nardo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The supporters of Calafuria FC booed when Arino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Colle didn't get a good kick on the ball.
