The penalty shot was made by Alberigo Di Nardo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Taneto AFC's Francesco Guaita. 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Concetto Martelli notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Calafuria FC's Alessio Sciotto. Alessio Sciotto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alessio Sciotto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Ronconi in the 25th minute of play. Concetto Martelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermanno Ronconi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Sciotto having to interfere. Alessio Sciotto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermanno Ronconi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Concetto Martelli in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alessio Sciotto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Alessio Sciotto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Martelli in the 53rd minute of the match. A hard shot 57 in the game by Donato Colecchia from a close distance when the talented Francesco Guaita managed to make a qualified save. Taneto AFC's players were relieved. In the 60thth minute of the game Filippo Tacco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taneto AFC's Francesco Guaita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Calafuria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Martelli came free, but Alessio Sciotto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calafuria FC's Filippo Tacco got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Calafuria FC. Alberigo Di Nardo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Francesco Guaita. 1-2. In the 79th minute, Fortunato Schiavio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Colecchia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Francesco Guaita skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Donato Colecchia got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-4 in the right cross in the 86th match minute before Francesco Guaita had time to react. The audience was convinced that Concetto Martelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessio Sciotto was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Emanuele Pietrantoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Calafuria FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Calafuria FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
