Campodonica AFC's Amerigo Facchetti pulled a muscle in his back after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Dino Crispino's late challenge caught a Campodonica AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Crispino helped the player get up and apologised. Ferdinando Giacchetti scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enzo Biondi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ferdinando Giacchetti took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Biondi. Enzo Biondi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ferdinando Giacchetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Enzo Biondi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuele Lenci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Biondi having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Emanuele Lenci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enzo Biondi. Campodonica AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuele Lenci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 35 minutes, Beppe Maranzano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campodonica AFC and the Ponte Ronca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Beppe Maranzano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Campodonica AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Anfilogino Causio hit a great ball. Campodonica AFC's Enzo Biondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Giacchetti in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Claudio Vani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinando Giacchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Claudio Vani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Ponte Ronca were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuele Lenci was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Lenci in the 54th minute of play forced Campodonica AFC's goalkeeper Enzo Biondi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinando Giacchetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Enzo Biondi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emanuele Lenci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edoardo Marrone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Vani in the 66th minute of the match. Emiliano Scatena kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Ferdinando Giacchetti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Biondi having to make a save. After 70 played minutes Campodonica AFC got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Nobile. 71 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Giacchetti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enzo Biondi. Campodonica AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinando Giacchetti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 75 played minutes Campodonica AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Causio. If Ferdinando Giacchetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Biondi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdinando Giacchetti in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Lenci in the 85th minute of play forced Campodonica AFC's goalkeeper Enzo Biondi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuele Lenci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Enzo Biondi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Campodonica AFC's Enzo Biondi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Campodonica AFC from getting a goal against them. The Ponte Ronca players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
