Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Beppe Giacomozzi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Saliceto Buzzalina's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Giacomozzi came free, but Eraldo Iannotti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Edoardo Rava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Serra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edoardo Rava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edoardo Rava was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Federico Marsilio fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saliceto Buzzalina's protests and gave Federico Marsilio a yellow card for diving instead. Cristoforo Fasciani might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eraldo Iannotti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristoforo Fasciani ran back to his position shaking his head. Eraldo Iannotti came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Montasico's Beppe Giacomozzi. But to his dismay, Beppe Giacomozzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Achille Di Michele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Attilio Serra made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Achille Di Michele got free with Attilio Serra in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Beppe Giacomozzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eraldo Iannotti was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Attilio Serra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Achille Di Michele in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edoardo Rava to strike the kick off in the second half. If Achille Di Michele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montasico's Cristoforo Fasciani got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felice Goffredo's late challenge caught a Montasico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felice Goffredo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Felice Goffredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Attilio Serra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achille Di Michele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Saliceto Buzzalina's Edoardo Rava in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montasico's goalie prevented a goal. Achille Di Michele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Attilio Serra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Eraldo Iannotti managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Montasico's Cristoforo Fasciani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Franco Di Ianni hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Francesco Toninelli charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francesco Toninelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 90 minutes into the match, Cristoforo Fasciani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eraldo Iannotti. Saliceto Buzzalina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristoforo Fasciani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Achille Di Michele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Saliceto Buzzalina supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Montasico's performance. The match ended with a win for Montasico.
