Biagio Di Santo scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elia Di Palma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tignano AFC's Bernardo Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo De Marchi in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Savona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Bernardi to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Savona FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aldo Angelici fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bernardo Guerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristoforo Bernardi went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute Aldo Angelici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Di Palma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tignano AFC's Bernardo Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo De Marchi in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosimo De Marchi in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the game, Aldo Angelici cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Elia Di Palma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Angelici in the 41st minute of play forced Savona FC's goalkeeper Elia Di Palma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo Angelici stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Tignano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Galli to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th match minute, Savona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Bernardi to maneuver through the defense. Carmine Raffa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tignano AFC's Bernardo Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Tignano AFC from getting a goal against them. Elia Di Palma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Di Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Cosimo De Marchi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Bernardo Guerra made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Angelici in the 73rd minute of play forced Savona FC's goalkeeper Elia Di Palma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elia Di Palma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Angelici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tignano AFC's Biagio Di Santo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arrigo Mazza hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Carmine Raffa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bernardo Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biagio Di Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Di Palma having to interfere. Savona FC's Elia Di Palma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Angelici in the 86th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Savona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Bernardi to maneuver through the defense. Aldo Angelici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aldo Angelici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Raffa, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Carmine Raffa struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Bernardo Guerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Savona FC. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tignano AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Savona FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
