All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ennio De Laurentiis to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ennio De Laurentiis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gerbi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ennio De Laurentiis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Di Ianni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 54 played minutes Dragoncello FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Rossi. Ercole Addari took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Di Ianni. In the 73rd match minute, Dragoncello FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Scacchi to maneuver through the defense. Ennio De Laurentiis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Emilio Di Ianni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Ferruccio Santini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dragoncello FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferruccio Santini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Dragoncello FC's Corrado Diana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emiliano Rosi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Dragoncello FC's Corrado Diana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emiliano Rosi. Emiliano Rosi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Gerbi were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
