Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Beppe Napoleone got the match started through his kick off. Ponte Ronca's Franco Melis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Milanese in the 11th minute of play. If Beppe Napoleone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute of the match Augusto Muto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessandro Costantini skillfully saved the ball. If Fausto Speranza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Beppe Napoleone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Costantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Beppe Napoleone dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alessandro Costantini, 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Fabiano Censi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ponte Ronca's Franco Melis. Franco Melis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beppe Napoleone in the 35th minute of play forced Poggetto FC's goalkeeper Alessandro Costantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Ruzzi kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Poggetto FC's Eugenio Cipriani tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ernesto Passalacqua hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabiano Censi to make the kick off. Franco Melis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Censi, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Beppe Napoleone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ponte Ronca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beppe Napoleone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franco Melis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Censi in the 63rd minute of the match. Bruno Milanese sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabiano Censi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Franco Melis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Bruno Milanese ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Melis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to Ponte Ronca getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bruno Ruzzi hit a great ball. If Bruno Milanese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Beppe Napoleone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Costantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Milanese sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
