Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edoardo Vinciguerra took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Enzo Mei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nervi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Mei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Nervi FC's Edoardo Vinciguerra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Fabio Troiani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Ferrante having to interfere. Fortunato Ferrante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Crosta in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Crosta in the 18th minute of play forced Nervi FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Ferrante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Nervi FC's Fausto Mastrangelo got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Dave Crosta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Edoardo Vinciguerra came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Nervi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Vinciguerra couldn't finish the play. The Campagna Lupia FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Campagna Lupia FC's Dave Crosta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eugenio Tellini kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Nervi FC's Ferdinando Minotti broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Enzo Mei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes Campagna Lupia FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Pietropaolo. After a defensive mix-up in Campagna Lupia FC's zone, Enzo Mei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Uguccioni came out of the goal and Enzo Mei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Campagna Lupia FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edoardo Vinciguerra 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Edoardo Vinciguerra struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Angelo Uguccioni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nervi FC. Through an outstanding action, after 49 minutes, Angelo Uguccioni successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dave Crosta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dave Crosta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 minutes, Cesare Taccone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nervi FC and the Campagna Lupia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Campagna Lupia FC booed when Nervi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Taccone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Campagna Lupia FC's Angelo Uguccioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Vinciguerra in the 66th minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, Campagna Lupia FC's Dave Crosta made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fortunato Ferrante was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd match minute, Nervi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Vinciguerra to maneuver through the defense. Ciccio Bartolomucci charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciccio Bartolomucci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute Dave Crosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Ferrante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fortunato Ferrante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Crosta, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Angelo Uguccioni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edoardo Vinciguerra went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Campagna Lupia FC's goalkeeper Angelo Uguccioni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nervi FC had played much better football throughout.
