Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ettore Di Martino took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fabio Troiani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Felice Di Renzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Vianello's late challenge caught a Campagna Lupia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Vianello helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cervia's Fausto Vianello got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Dave Crosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Crosta in the 17th minute of play forced Cervia's goalkeeper Felice Di Renzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ettore Di Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Crosta in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felice Di Renzo saved Cervia from getting behind. Campagna Lupia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Ettore Di Martino scored to the left of an out of position Angelo Uguccioni, making the score, 1-0. After 36 minutes of play Cervia's Fausto Vianello was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 36th match minute, Cervia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Vianello to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cervia's zone, Dave Crosta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felice Di Renzo came out of the goal and Dave Crosta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fabio Troiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dave Crosta made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Dave Crosta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dave Crosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Francesco Feltrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Troiani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Di Renzo having to interfere. After 77 minutes Cervia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fausto Prisco who took care of the corner kick. Fabio Troiani was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Dave Crosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Di Renzo having to interfere. Ettore Mara helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Campagna Lupia FC booed when Cervia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Mara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felice Di Renzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Troiani in the 92nd minute. Fabio Troiani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Many of Campagna Lupia FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Campagna Lupia FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Cervia were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
