Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dario Colombi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ennio Suriani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Egidi having to interfere. Eraldo Sciascia hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Anfilogino Albertini in the 10th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Carmine Carciofo's left hand side. Emilio Di Luca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armin Colaussi kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Bianco Egidi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ennio Suriani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bianco Egidi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Suriani in the 24th minute of play. Damiano Alleva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Carmine Carciofo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damiano Alleva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Carciofo having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Dario Colombi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Carmine Carciofo to make any attempt to save it. In the 44th minute Diego Del Monaco suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Armin Colaussi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. Armin Colaussi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ennio Suriani made a kick off. Damiano Alleva struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Carmine Carciofo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borganzo. Damiano Alleva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Carmine Carciofo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmine Carciofo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damiano Alleva, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Carmine Carciofo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Colombi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrico Venditti hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes Borganzo got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Cacciatore. Ennio Suriani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Borganzo's Bianco Egidi got control of the ball when Enrico Venditti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Borganzo's Bianco Egidi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Borganzo from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Muggio FC booed when Borganzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Maccioni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrico Venditti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Borganzo's goalkeeper Bianco Egidi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emilio Di Luca kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Damiano Alleva came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Borganzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damiano Alleva couldn't finish the play. If Damiano Alleva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Damiano Alleva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Carciofo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrico Venditti charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrico Venditti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Enrico Venditti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the game, Borganzo's Damiano Alleva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carmine Carciofo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Borganzo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Muggio FC for a fine match.
