The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Porossan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinando Giammaria came free, but Davide Carrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes Porossan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Tassotti. If Armin Campo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Cesarini in the 17th minute of play forced Porossan AFC's goalkeeper Davide Carrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armin Campo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Carrea having to interfere. A collision led to Rovello Porro getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alexander Cesarini hit a great ball. Eraldo Capone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rovello Porro's zone, Eraldo Capone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Scutti came out of the goal and Eraldo Capone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Aurelio Muzi came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Porossan AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Muzi couldn't finish the play. Eraldo Capone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Fortunato Scutti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davide Carrea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Rovello Porro supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rovello Porro would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
