Fausto Vasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Serra having to interfere. Fausto Disastro took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dino Serra. Dino Serra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Traversara's Dino Serra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Disastro in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Traversara getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Fabio Ricciuti hit a great ball. Fausto Vasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cavazzoli FC's Arturo Berardinelli in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Traversara's goalie prevented a goal. After 25 minutes, Davide Visintin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Traversara and the Cavazzoli FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Davide Visintin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Fausto Vasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavazzoli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Vasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Serra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Cavazzoli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Campo came free, but Frank Pascucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Serra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Disastro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Cavazzoli FC's Fausto Disastro got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto Vasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dino Serra having to make a save. In the 38th minute, Arturo Berardinelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dino Serra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Frank Pascucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damiano Molinari in the 42nd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ennio Campo to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Traversara booed when Cavazzoli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Di Giulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th match minute, Traversara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Ricciuti to maneuver through the defense. When Traversara's Aurelio Busillo in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cavazzoli FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Ennio Campo came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Traversara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ennio Campo couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Busillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Pascucci having to interfere. Frank Pascucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Campo in the 67th minute of the match. Fausto Vasco was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Cavazzoli FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Fausto Disastro sped through Traversara's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dino Serra. Frank Pascucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Busillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aurelio Busillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damiano Molinari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Pascucci having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cavazzoli FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
