Bernardo Bardella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Volta, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Costa's Bernardo Bardella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Volta in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Isolotto's Anfilogino Volta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 17th minute, Arrigo Flamini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Claudio Di Maio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes, Costa's Armin Antenucci shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernesto Giardini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa reached it. Bernardo Bardella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Volta in the 23rd minute of play. The wind increased when Anfilogino Volta made the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Giardini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrea Vulcano's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Arrigo Flaminis short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Ernesto Giardini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 62 minutes into the game, Diego Santovito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bernardo Bardella was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 66 minutes, Diego Santovito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isolotto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Santovito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Volta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bernardo Bardella was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrea Vulcano struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ernesto Giardini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa. Ernesto Giardini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Vulcano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Volta in the 80th minute of play forced Costa's goalkeeper Bernardo Bardella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Diego Santovito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arrigo Flamini struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ernesto Giardini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa. Isolotto's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
