Fedele Biagetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Fracassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Palladino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eugenio Adriano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damiano Berardi kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Bernardo Palladino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casalecchio FC's Eugenio Adriano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Fedele Biagetti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Augusto Colantoni kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Bianco Antonacci took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fedele Biagetti. Viarolo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eugenio Adriano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Brunetta went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute, Alfredo Della Torre made a precise shot to the right of Fedele Biagetti. Viarolo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Alfredo Della Torre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Biagetti having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Della Torre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fedele Biagetti was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Fedele Biagetti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Della Torre went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With his leg Eugenio Adriano managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Viarolo FC's Donato Brunetta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Viarolo FC booed when Casalecchio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Fracassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Enzo Pettinelli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenio Adriano skillfully saved the ball. Fedele Biagetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ennio Addario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casalecchio FC's Alfredo Della Torre got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Casalecchio FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Demetrio Fracassi hit a great ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Bernardo Palladino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viarolo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Palladino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fedele Biagetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Addario in the 85th minute of the match. Alfredo Della Torre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Casalecchio FC had won after a very even match.
