Alfredo Di Biagio might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Scurti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Di Biagio ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfredo Di Biagio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Ernesto Scurti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Florian Di Piazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Pietropaolo in the 26th minute of play forced Barisano's goalkeeper Ernesto Scurti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florian Di Piazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfredo Di Biagio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The San Pellegrino players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barisano were winning 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Cristofari made a kick off. Ernesto Scurti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Pietropaolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvise Pietropaolo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ernesto Scurti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Pellegrino. In the 59th minute Alvise Pietropaolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Scurti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Di Biagio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Scurti having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, San Pellegrino's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alvaro Cristofari fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, San Pellegrino's Fulvio Milanese got control of the ball when Florian Di Piazza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florian Di Piazzas short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Fulvio Milanese to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 68th match minute, Barisano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Como to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Di Biagio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When San Pellegrino's Alvise Pietropaolo in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alberigo Fortuna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvise Pietropaolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Scurti having to interfere. Alfredo Di Biagio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute Alfredo Di Biagio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Scurti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvise Pietropaolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ernesto Scurti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alvise Pietropaolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Cristofari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Milanese having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barisano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
