Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Demetrio Pelliccia got the match started through his kick off. Achille Villani charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Achille Villani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernardo Ferrini came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Case's Demetrio Pelliccia. But to his dismay, Demetrio Pelliccia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ciro Menichini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elia Sergi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Menichini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Elia Sergi managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when San Maurizio AFC's Domenico Baciadonne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Case getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dennis Santagata hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Case's zone, Domenico Baciadonne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elia Sergi came out of the goal and Domenico Baciadonne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Ferrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Pelliccia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Menichini to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Ciro Menichini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Sergi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in San Maurizio AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! 59 minutes into the match, Franco Clemente had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Ferrini. San Maurizio AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franco Clemente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Dennis Santagata struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Bernardo Ferrini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Case. Elia Sergi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domenico Baciadonne's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Bernardo Ferrini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Santagata in the 68th minute. Demetrio Pelliccia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bernardo Ferrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Baciadonne scored 2-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elia Sergi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Achille Villani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Demetrio Pelliccia got free in front of the goal in the 82nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Bernardo Ferrini was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Enrico Belardi fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Case's protests and gave Enrico Belardi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of San Maurizio AFC booed when Case was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Belardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87th play minutes Ciro Menichini shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Elia Sergi and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Dennis Santagata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Case's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Santagata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dennis Santagata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th match minute, San Maurizio AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achille Villani to maneuver through the defense. If Demetrio Pelliccia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
