Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ciro Menichini made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Menichini in the 8th minute of play forced Lissone's goalkeeper Andrea Rava to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lissone's goalkeeper Andrea Rava, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Domenico Baciadonne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrea Rava showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Baciadonne, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of San Maurizio AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lissone:s goal. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Lissone. Daniele Paglione stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bernardo Ferrini. 1-0. 47 minutes into the game, Ercole Di Ianni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lissone's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Maurizio AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lissone's Ercole Di Ianni got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Bernardo Ferrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Di Biagio in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Lissone getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Felice Di Biagio hit a great ball. If Domenico Baciadonne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felice Di Biagio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Ferrini having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Aurelio Novella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Maurizio AFC and the Lissone players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes San Maurizio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Novella. 72 minutes into the match, Lissone's goalkeeper Andrea Rava had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domenico Baciadonne. Felice Di Biagio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bernardo Ferrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Felice Di Biagio came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Lissone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felice Di Biagio couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Domenico Baciadonne managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Maurizio AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domenico Baciadonne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrea Rava breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Achille Villani fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Maurizio AFC's protests and gave Achille Villani a yellow card for diving instead. Enrico Salvagnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Ferrini having to interfere. Domenico Baciadonne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Domenico Baciadonne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lissone were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of San Maurizio AFC for a fine match.
