Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ennio Lucentini started the match with the kick off. Comunardo Castrucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ennio Lucentini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Fausto Di Marino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mortise's Ennio Lucentini got a free kick in the 12th minute. Alberto Cacciatore made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Alfonso Melchiorre sent off a good shot on target. If Arturo Avesani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Avesani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Amedeo Speranza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in San Damiano AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Mortise a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alfonso Ferraro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of San Damiano AFC's Fausto Di Marino. 0-1. Alfonso Melchiorres short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Alberto Cacciatore to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute Comunardo Castrucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Di Marino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Melchiorre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alberto Cacciatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amedeo Speranza hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Melchiorre got free with Alberto Cacciatore in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arturo Avesani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute Comunardo Castrucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Di Marino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Avesani was extremely unlucky when he, in the 48th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Comunardo Castrucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Avesani was the one to do the kick off. After 57 minutes of play, Mortise's Comunardo Castrucci made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Di Marino was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Ennio Lucentini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto Di Marino was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Amedeo Cagnetta hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd match minute, Mortise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Lucentini to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Di Marino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ennio Lucentini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in San Damiano AFC's zone, Comunardo Castrucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Di Marino came out of the goal and Comunardo Castrucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Ennio Lucentini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Damiano AFC's Fausto Di Marino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eugenio Mandelli kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Mortise's Ennio Lucentini got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Comunardo Castrucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ennio Lucentini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amerigo Egger charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amerigo Egger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to San Damiano AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Amerigo Egger hit a great ball. Ennio Lucentini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Di Marino having to interfere. Ennio Lucentini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
