Villa Oneto AFC's Dario Ragusa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gorla Maggiore. Elia Nicolai hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Antonello Martinelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Gerola, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Villa Oneto AFC's Alberto Lo Iacono got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Fortunato Oriali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Serra got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 29 played minutes Gorla Maggiore got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Serra. Alvaro Facchini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristoforo Massimini in the 34th minute of the match. Antonello Martinelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Gerola in the 36th minute of play. If Eraldo Colombi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Gorla Maggiore's goalkeeper Alvaro Facchini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermanno Miccio. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Antonello Martinelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Gerola in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes Gorla Maggiore got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Colombi. In the 62nd minute, Cristoforo Massimini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermanno Miccio took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Facchini. Alvaro Facchini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 67 minutes, Eraldo Colombi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorla Maggiore and the Villa Oneto AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gorla Maggiore getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Eraldo Colombi hit a great ball. In the 68th minute of the match Dario Ragusa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvaro Facchini skillfully saved the ball. In the 69th minute, Eraldo Colombi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristoforo Massimini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristoforo Massimini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Villa Oneto AFC's Alberto Lo Iacono got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute, Bernardo Gerola reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antonello Martinelli. The goal made the score 2-1. 85 minutes into the match, Villa Oneto AFC's Ermanno Miccio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Facchini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fortunato Oriali charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Villa Oneto AFC booed when Gorla Maggiore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Oriali didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92ndth minute of the game Cristoforo Massimini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gorla Maggiore's Alvaro Facchini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Fortunato Oriali was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. After recieving a nice pass, Villa Oneto AFC's Dario Ragusa tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
