Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Gallo's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Morini came free, but Antonio Sciamanna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Càtafório's Florian De Bettin in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gallo's goalie prevented a goal. Adriano De Sanctis's late challenge caught a Gallo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriano De Sanctis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gallo booed when Càtafório was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano De Sanctis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gallo's Amedeo Cocca got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th play minute Antonio Di Biagio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Comunardo Finocchi. 1-0. Ferdinando Pagliarini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Comunardo Finocchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinando Pagliarini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Florian De Bettin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Sciamanna was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Amedeo Cocca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinando Pagliarini made a kick off. Adriano Morini was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ferdinando Pagliarini struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Comunardo Finocchi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gallo. If Ferdinando Pagliarini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florian De Bettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Sciamanna having to interfere. Amedeo Cocca kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Antonio Sciamanna acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Federico Sforza. When Ferdinando Pagliarini came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Gallo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Pagliarini couldn't finish the play. Comunardo Finocchi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinando Pagliarini's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Càtafório's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
