In the 4th minute Christian Franceschelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Parente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Christian Franceschelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mezzanino AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Franceschelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corrado Guaita kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Franceschelli in the 77th minute of play forced Glorie's goalkeeper Cristiano Parente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Mezzanino AFC's Elia Petroni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Parente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlo Di Fazio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Carlini in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mezzanino AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
