Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Borgo Moella's Cesare Spada started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristoforo Zollino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo Maurizi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Spada in the 6th minute of play forced Gattatico AFC's goalkeeper Claudio Trinca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Gattatico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Spada came free, but Claudio Trinca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Cesare Spada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borgo Moella's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesare Spada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Trinca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filippo Maurizi might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristoforo Zollino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filippo Maurizi ran back to his position shaking his head. If Camillo Oberrauch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristoforo Zollino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippo Maurizi in the 31st minute of play. With his leg Cristoforo Zollino managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Gattatico AFC's Cesare Baggio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anthony Trinca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Trinca having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Gattatico AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Franceschelli to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filippo Maurizi to make the kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gattatico AFC's goalkeeper Claudio Trinca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65thth minute of the game Filippo Maurizi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borgo Moella's Cristoforo Zollino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Borgo Moella fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! With his leg Claudio Trinca managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Borgo Moella's Anthony Trinca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Gattatico AFC's Ermanno Villa got a free kick in the 74th minute. Claudio Trinca came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Borgo Moella's Camillo Oberrauch. But to his dismay, Camillo Oberrauch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After having played for 88 minutes, Cesare Spada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgo Moella's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesare Spada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Gattatico AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anthony Trinca fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Borgo Moella played a much better game than Gattatico AFC and deserved their victory. The Gattatico AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
