Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filippo Africano started the match with the kick off. Tessello AFC's Frank Scivittaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Maurizi in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippo Africano in the 5th minute of play forced Gattatico AFC's goalkeeper Claudio Trinca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Alessio Franceschelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gattatico AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 17 minutes, Bernardo Ronca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gattatico AFC and the Tessello AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gattatico AFC! In the 19th minute, Tessello AFC got a penalty, and Dario Lucchetti placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. When Alessio Franceschelli fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gattatico AFC's protests and gave Alessio Franceschelli a yellow card for diving instead. Claudio Trinca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippo Africano in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Tessello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Baggio came free, but Frank Scivittaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Filippo Maurizi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Scivittaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ettore Pan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudio Trinca made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ettore Pan sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Filippo Africano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudio Trinca made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Ettore Pan sent off a good shot on target. Claudio Trinca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippo Africano, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filippo Maurizi to make the kick off. Claudio Trinca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Negrini, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Gattatico AFC's Claudio Trinca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Africano in the 64th minute of play. Tessello AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Filippo Maurizi scored to the left of an out of position Frank Scivittaro, making the score, 1-3. Claudio Trinca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ettore Pan's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Filippo Maurizi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gattatico AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippo Maurizi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Filippo Maurizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Tessello AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gattatico AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gattatico AFC.
