In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pergola AFC's goalkeeper Fabiano Cordone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cesare Tamburrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Salerni in the 19th minute of the match. Armando Scarpa kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Alfonso Centofanti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pergola AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Centofanti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesare Tamburrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Centofanti in the 25th minute of the match. Pergola AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessio Puddu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Arrigo Martano's late challenge caught a Pergola AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arrigo Martano helped the player get up and apologised. Arrigo Martano hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Alfonso Centofanti struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Cesare Tamburrini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pergola AFC. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Tocchetto made a kick off. Zena's Cesare Tamburrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Tenaglia in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Arrigo Martano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zena's supporters rose to their feet, but Arrigo Martano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Cordone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Andrea Tenaglia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessio Puddu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Alessio Puddu made a precise shot to the right of Fabiano Cordone. Pergola AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zena fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pergola AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
