Edoardo Cirulli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Evani in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Quinzano booed when Casale San Vito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Porreca didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercole Evani in the 14th minute of play forced Casale San Vito AFC's goalkeeper Edoardo Cirulli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casale San Vito AFC's Edoardo Cirulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Marzoli in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Casale San Vito AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alvise Di Giambattista hit a great ball. A collision led to Quinzano getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. In the 36th minute, Adriano Mara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Edoardo Di Monte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, Quinzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Crema to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Adriano Mara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casale San Vito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Mara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenico Pinti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Quinzano's Ercole Evani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edoardo Cirulli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ercole Evani was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Quinzano's zone, Edoardo Di Monte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domenico Pinti came out of the goal and Edoardo Di Monte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Attilio Marzoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Edoardo Cirulli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Quinzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Di Carlo to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Di Sipio charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Di Sipio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Augusto Di Sipio kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Casale San Vito AFC's Ferdinando Barillari tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonello Bertini during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edoardo Di Monte scored 2-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domenico Pinti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Domenico Pinti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Mara, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Domenico Pinti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Di Monte in the 85th minute of play. Adriano Mara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adriano Mara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Domenico Pinti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Mara in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Pinti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quinzano's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
